Meet the Rapid Water Heater Family
Rapid Water Heater is a real family business. When you call us, you get the people whose name is on the van, and a couple of future plumbers who take their job very seriously.
Family-Owned, Hands-On, Local
Every job is tied to our family's name and reputation. That's why you'll see us on the job, explaining your options plainly and doing the work right the first time.
Josh Kwekel
Josh founded Rapid Water Heater in Sarasota in 2025 and is on the job with the team every day, from water heater installs to drain cleaning.
Pat
Pat brings 47 years of plumbing experience to every job. When a problem is tricky, he's the one who has seen it before and knows how to fix it right.
Catherine
Catherine is the friendly voice you reach when you call. She keeps the schedule running and makes sure every customer gets a quick, honest answer.
Callahan & Lewis
Josh and Catherine's two boys, Callahan and Lewis, are never far from the action. They've got their own yellow Rapid Water Heater shirts, and they've been known to hold a wrench, inspect a toilet tank, and supervise from inside a bathtub.
Growing up around the business is a big part of why we care about doing things the right way. We're building something for the next generation of the family, not just the next service call.
Our slogan says it best: Hot water now. No monkey business!
How We Work
From water heater installs to drain cleaning and camera inspections, we take the time to do it properly and explain what we're doing.
